Regroup Furniture Exchange
Given just the name Regroup and the notion that the logo should contain circling arrows but not look too much like recycle, I came up with the following.
DRAFT - When the name changed to Regroup Furniture Exchange, I first suggested this logo.
DRAFT - Still Getting the correct rendering down for the arrows. In order to get them to work like this, they are rotated at really stange angles offset from each other even though they look like they would be just 180 degrees offset.
DRAFT - This optical illusion has several important details in it. For example, both triangles that make up the arrow heads are regular right triangles with all sides parallel.
DRAFT - This was an alternate design for horizontal ads
DRAFT - Just one of the original drafts to show the logos versatility .Eventually we made mouse matts to give away.
FINAL - This final version on black has some advanced rendering to get some of the details to work like the reflection of the arrow in the word Regroup.
FINAL Black on White. Notice the sheen and reflection in the word Regroup.
FINAL - This ran in an advertisement and appeared on posters in their store. Notice the HDRI reflections in the arrows and the sheen on the main image. Also, both photos that make up the background were severely distorted and mottled so it took quite a while to clean them up.
